Overwhelming Inspiration

Ok, so I have to put this out there:

I was browsing through fantasy pictures and the like, and I came across one particular picture that just stole my breath away.

So how did I find it? Well, I was searching for a "warrior princess" look for the story, which you'll understand once I put this novel out there (if ever!), and most of the ones I saw were all Asian looking (because  fantasy warrior princesses are Asian - sure), and yes this one is Asian too, but I swear someone read my mind, and only now am I seeing this!

Ok. In my story, there's a celestial being who kinda helps with everything, and I have a very clear picture of who she is and what she looks like, and when I saw this picture, I thought it was her!

Ladies and gentlemen, may I introduce to you Tara, the eldest of the Great Seven, Guardian of Fate and Queen of the Universe.

I swear she is exactly who Tara is. She is defender of life, she is the wisest of all beings in the universe of the Great Seven!

Act One Is Complete

Exactly as it says in the title, and yes, I reference my story as a play. It's a novel, don't forget, but I like looking at it in different ways. I thought of it in parts, now I think of it in acts, and I have to say, it makes things a lot easier for me.

I know I've only posted an update yesterday...or was it the day before...wait, no yesterday, but I assure you this update is because I have finished act one of my play (don't judge!!!). Yes I've finished chapter 10 and it couldn't have come sooner! I loved writing the first act! It was such a roller coaster ride, and I ended it with a great feeling. I was so overcome with emotion, I actually had to stop writing halfway through a sentence. The last part of chapter ten will probably cause many of you to hate me! I know I hate me too, because I wrote it! I was so excited and emotional when I wrote it I couldn't even describe what I felt! I couldn't even breathe!

Wow, I'm getting excited just thinking about it...So, carrying on with this post...I am now beginning act two or chapter 11 and things are really getting intense. Don't worry, you'll be able to see it soon, that is if my reviewers can get me my reviews on time.

Anyway, this story is so much different than what I'd ever expected. It's evolved as I write, and every time I look over what I've just written, I can't even imagine it's me that's writing. It's like, nothing I've ever felt. Ok, so that's basically what I keep saying, let me explain. When I write this story, it's like...it's not me that's writing, I mean I am writing it, but it's not my words. Basically, it's like when you're reading a book for the first time, you don't know what's going to happen, and you are so engrossed you have to read it. That's like me as I write. It's like I'm reading what someone else is saying to me, and I'm just the scribe, I see the words in my head and when it comes out on the computer, I'm dazzled! I can't believe what I'd just written, and I have to look over it just to make sure it's really there! It's like I'm reading that new book, as I'm writing. It's amazing! The last novel I wrote it was nothing like it, I had to consciously write the story, and it did not work at all, but this, this is on a whole new level. It's beyond my own imagination. It's not even me!

I don't know if any writer or any artist can say the same, but that's exactly how I feel. When I planned this story, I thought it would just be a normal romance, where the girl and guy admit they love each other, but the more I write, the deeper it all gets. It literally evolves as I write! I mean, after I finish a chapter I always have an idea of what I want to write next, and if it's at night, I always think about what I want to write just before I go to bed. Then when I wake up, and I turn on my laptop, the story is not the one I envisioned the night before, it is something completely different. It's the same when it comes to the next part of a chapter. Once I'm done with one perspective, another comes along!

It's like I'm not the one dictating this book, and I'm just along for the ride, just watching and waiting for the next thing to happen. It's so magical, I can't even begin to describe my excitement. I really can't wait for it to be finished, so that all of you can see what I mean. It's really something else, and yes it may have elements of stories that you've probably seen, but it's something really new in my perspective, and I really can't imagine anything else. Of course when I do finally look over it, and I put it up here, I will give the credits where its due, not just to my readers, but to the inspiration that created it. Update Time - I Really Work Fast

Ok so yes I think these updates will be daily. First off I have been working very hard on this project and I am completely convinced I will be able to finish it soon. I am already on chapter 10 that's why.

After my inspiration burn out I think chapter 9 and 10 will just be fillers until the next plot change. they will be a bit shorter than the others I've done. These chapters are dragging now, because I need to wait until the plot twist, so I'm sorry if they aren't quite as fun as the others. You'll understand when you read.

While writing for chapter 10 I was very tempted to include something that would probably make my parents blush, because, as I mentioned in the page for this story, this story is largely based on one of the many fan fictions I have come to love, and well thanks to fan fiction my innocence is ruined, maybe not physically, but in other ways.

So summary of what inspired me to write these chapters:

In chapter 8 there was something that was really disturbing for my characters so chapter 9 was a segue into the next set of normalcy. I was inspired by one of the situations in "Of Dreams And Broken Things" and although it isn't quite as intense as Jareth and Sarah's opening up, I dreamed myself into the role. When you read it you'll understand what I mean, because Kaylin's situation isn't as bad as Sarah's in this fiction.

Now chapter 10 it's going to be just a filler, until the main action in the next few chapters. So I'm sorry if it seems very drab, but I kinda need it to prove that the next few actions are linked, so pay attention when you read it.

Just a little bit about chapter 11. It's going to be another fill because I just realised that chapter 10 has had a bit of a twist, so this chapter will be the filler, because the time difference between the chapters are quite short - they usually last between a few days and the week, so perhaps in this chapter the next week will fly by, perhaps not. It's a work in progress.

Sudden Inspiration And An Overwhelming Urge

Dear all,

I think I'll start posts like this from now, except of course for the reviews. Anyway, hi, as the title of this post suggests, I was suddenly inspired to do something, and now have this overwhelming urge to finish what I started.

Ok, so for the past few months, I've been playing a lot of games League of Legends (awesome game by the way), Nancy Drew PC games (by Her Interactive) and other random games. But I have been most inspired by Nancy. How many of you readers have ever read the book, I remember I used to collect her books, they were amazing, I always had aspired to be somewhat like Nancy.

I am digressing, where was I, oh yes, well. I was inspired by the Nancy Drew games so much, that I have decided to write a script based on one of her adventures, in the games. Of course, it won't be exactly the same, because, that would be plagiarism, so I'm writing it using completely different characters, and using a different setting. Hopefully it won't be too similar.

So the purpose of this post is to warn you about the lack of any in the future, I will be a bit busy writing this script and playing games, as well as finding a job, going to uni, and rejoining the youth team (hopefully) but when I can, I will, and I'll probably have lots to say.
